Nikita Boldyrev was born in 1987 in Moscow. He graduated with honours at the State Musical College of pop and jazz art in 2007 and at the State Classical Academy in 2012 where he received guitar lessons from Nikolay Golovnya.
During his studies at the university he was a fellow by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation. Nikita also received a state award for the support of young talents through the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation (2006).
Awards and honours
Nikita Boldyrev is part of the World Book of Records as "the person who sets the world record for the speed of mastering the guitar repertoire" (the formulation of the Russian Bureau for the registration of records, 2001).
Nikita Boldyrev was awarded in numerous Russian and international competitions, both classical and jazz guitar. Nikita Boldyrev's style is based on the union of classical music and jazz. His repertoire can be described as "jazz in classical guitar" and "finger style".
He has performed in much of Eastern Europe and Russia
Nikita Boldyrev performed solo in the cities of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Serbia. He participated in guitar and jazz festivals in Russia, Poland, Austria, Serbia, Ukraine, Belarus, Romania, including “Guitar World” festivals (Kaluga, 2009, 2013), “Guitar Virtuosos” (Moscow, 2012), “Strings” (Serbia, 2015), "Golden Vultures" (Moscow, 2017), "The Pink Panther" (Ufa, 2018), "Harmonia Cordis International Guitar Festival" (Romania, 2018).
During the last years he performed concerts and taught master classes in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bryansk, Kirov, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Stavropol, Severodvinsk, Murmansk, Belgorod, Kursk, Orel, Ufa, Ulyanovsk, Penza and other cities in Russia. In addition Nikita participated in television and radio programs.
Nikita Boldyrev repeatedly performed in duet with guitarists such as Antal Pusztai (Hungary), Mikhail Olenchenko, Yuri Polezhaev, Dmitry Illarionov (Russia) and also with vocalists Katerina Kors, Nadezhda Gorelova, Maria Katz (also known as Yudith, Eurovision participant -1994 ).

Nikita Boldyrev actively collaborates with composers such as: Gennady Gladkov, Nikita Koshkin, Vyacheslav Osminin, Marina Landa and Yuri Markin. Since 2008 he is a professor at Guitar College (Moscow).
